the thing about working...

first of all I love working!

I can't stand the thought of not doing something productive

you know like sitting around all the day and not having a real purpose in life

BUT

the thing about working is that you really don't have a life besides work...

you get up early... thinking about work

you drive to work... thinking about work

you are at work working and ... thinking about work

you have a break and you are... thinking about work

you drive to the grocery store and ... think about work

you go home and do all these household chores and think about what you have to do at work tomorrow

sure inbetween you have some times that you're not thinking of work but those are rare

unfortunately

and the funny thing is

if you are at work and don't really have something to do because it's a foggy, slow winter day

German Christmas in America

on the 13th of December my Christmas presents made it to America!

it was quiet a hustle getting everything ready in time 

and then there is always the terrorism around Christmas time :/

luckily this year there hasn't happen anything

and so the girlies could already enjoy their Advent calender ;)

it's snowing :)

the snow finally made it to Germany!!!

I love it! 

everything sparkles and it's so quiet outside

i told you I would post about Saturday night but I won't

let's just say that I found out that there are some decent guys out there :)

today was the weirdest weather ever! It rained, snowed, hailed and all the things in between

it during all that it stormed like hell

honestly I felt like there was a tornado out there!

the Christmas tree broke down I mean come on!

other than that it was a really boring day, I was in the counter but no one comes to vogelsang on such a day

Rainy Saturdays

something I love about November are rainy Saturdays : )

this November has been unusual so to say

it was the first unbelievably dry November since weather reports

but today it's cloudy and raining : )

i just love it perfect for hanging out on the couch

later i am going to go to my friends Birthday and maybe that will be my next blog ; )

Christmas is coming soon :)

finally my favorite time of the year is here =)

it's Advent-time... everything smells like cinnamon and oranges

everywhere are burning candles and there is a sea of tiny lights in every house

yep it's Advent

and everyday there is a little piece of chocolate waiting for me

and when I come home from work I sit down in my rocking chair a blanket around me

and a cup of hot chocolatemilk in my hand reading a wondeful novel and feeling like

about 80 years older than I really am

but you just gotta love it!

so have a happy, cozy, warm advent everyone



it's been so long...

I'm back ;) blogging and in Germany...

I'm still not sure if it's good or not but I'll keep you updated ;)

Everything is new but it still feels just like before but now my heart is in two places

What changed?

I moved into my own little apartment

I became godmother

I am working as a trainee

I enjoy my family

I miss my other family

I'm super busy

I know now there is no such thing as transition into your "old" life

but I'll give my best to live life
