Winterwonderland

today is just perfect :)

I love those days when you have to get up early and leave your cozy bed to go out in the cold

you might think I am crazy but if you ever felt that peace in the morning

when so many people are still asleep, and the sun is just starting to rise, and you know she'll come trough due to that slightly visible pink and orange colors way back at the horizon

but what makes it so wondeful is, that it snowed and now all the little cristals are shining

thounsands of tiny sparkles everywhere

and then going outside and feeling that little bit of pain when your loungs fill with the icecold air for the first time and you can see your breath

is there anything better out there?



it's keeping me busy...

Wooooowza!

feels like this month just zoomed to the end...

and I barely remember all of what happend, ummm....

 I guess I met some friends a couple of times,

went partying :) ,

went shopping at IKEA *expensiiiiiiive*,

cuddled with Luke & Leon

spent quality time with my family,

played wii with Fiona and talked to her till she fell asleep,

went to europes biggest boat trade fair,

had a minor car crash, my neck still hasn't quiet recovered

went to a" karnevals"-party

went to school,

went to work,

and inbetween I made laundry, and cleaned my flat and the dishes

annoyed my neighbors and wondered how time can possibly pass this fast without giving me a written notice!

unbelievable!

hope your year started out better and you actually got to enjoy the new year full of great possibilities, just waiting for you to make them happen

*very sarcstic sounding voice*

still I hope that that happend to you

the thing about working...

first of all I love working!

I can't stand the thought of not doing something productive

you know like sitting around all the day and not having a real purpose in life

BUT

the thing about working is that you really don't have a life besides work...

you get up early... thinking about work

you drive to work... thinking about work

you are at work working and ... thinking about work

you have a break and you are... thinking about work

you drive to the grocery store and ... think about work

you go home and do all these household chores and think about what you have to do at work tomorrow

sure inbetween you have some times that you're not thinking of work but those are rare

unfortunately

and the funny thing is

if you are at work and don't really have something to do because it's a foggy, slow winter day

German Christmas in America

on the 13th of December my Christmas presents made it to America!

it was quiet a hustle getting everything ready in time 

and then there is always the terrorism around Christmas time :/

luckily this year there hasn't happen anything

and so the girlies could already enjoy their Advent calender ;)

the snow finally made it to Germany!!!

i told you I would post about Saturday night but I won't

let's just say that I found out that there are some decent guys out there :)

today was the weirdest weather ever! It rained, snowed, hailed and all the things in between

it during all that it stormed like hell

honestly I felt like there was a tornado out there!

the Christmas tree broke down I mean come on!

other than that it was a really boring day, I was in the counter but no one comes to vogelsang on such a day

Rainy Saturdays

something I love about November are rainy Saturdays : )

this November has been unusual so to say

it was the first unbelievably dry November since weather reports

but today it's cloudy and raining : )

i just love it perfect for hanging out on the couch

later i am going to go to my friends Birthday and maybe that will be my next blog ; )
